Clinical Pharmacy

Clinical pharmacists at Atrius Health are the medication experts on your care team. Our goal is to help you successfully manage your medications by:

  • Explaining the important facts you should know about each of your medications
  • Making sure your medications are working as effectively and safely as possible
  • Identifying ways to simplify your medication instructions and help you avoid side effects, drug interactions, and unnecessary costs
  • Working with the rest of your health care team to support you in reaching your personal health goals

Make an Appointment

We have clinical pharmacists at most of our locations as an additional service for our adult primary care patients. We also currently have a clinical pharmacist who supports our Pain Management team, and a clinical pharmacist who supports our Hematology/Oncology team at our Kenmore location.

If you would like to meet with a clinical pharmacist, please request a referral from your primary care provider (PCP), your pain management specialist, or your Atrius Health oncologist. You will not be charged a copayment for clinical pharmacist office visits.

In preparation for your appointment with the clinical pharmacist, please bring all of your medications with you. If you have any questions about your appointment with your clinical pharmacist, please call your doctor’s office.

The Clinical Pharmacy department also includes the Anticoagulation Management Service.

We look forward to meeting with you!
