“Being part of the PDP program at Atrius was a great way to get a behind the scenes look at Atrius. Having this time protected gave me the chance to think carefully and through how addressing change should be done and learning about Implementation Science augmented this process. I am so glad this opportunity was made available when I joined Atrius.”
Focus Areas: Value-based care, risk adjustment, provider engagement and education
- Utilized Implementation Science principals to investigate risk adjustment needs and develop plan for improvement. This included working closely with current team promoting Risk Adjustment including personnel in billing, population health, and IT to determine current state of Risk Adjustment.
- Developed and led a peer-to-peer education program to enhance provider engagement in value-based documentation and coding
- Promoted to Medical Direct of Risk Adjustment upon completion of PDP program.

- Co-led development and dissemination of practice guidelines on secondary prevention of CVD through coronary artery calcification identification on chest cat scans
- Utilized Implementation Science principles to design a multi-level intervention aimed at changing prescribing behavior in response to incidentally identified CAC
- Evaluated impact of multi-level intervention – submitted manuscript to Permanente Journal
- Abstract accepted to the Society for General Internal Medicine Annual Meeting 2022 - Innovation and Healthcare Delivery
- Conducted semi-structured interviews with suboxone prescribers across Atrius
