We are delighted to welcome several clinicians who most recently practiced in the Norfolk, Massachusetts area. These providers will be temporarily located at our Easton office to complete their initial onboarding with our practice.

Meet The Clinicians

John Adams, MD

Internal Medicine

Dr. John Adams earned his medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, MA, and completed his residency at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital. He is board certified in internal medicine.

Michael Higgins, MD

Internal Medicine

Dr. Michael Higgins received a bachelor’s in biology from Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, VT, and earned a Doctor of Medicine from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. He completed an internal medicine residency at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital (BWF) in Boston, MA.

Lauren Precopio, NP

Internal Medicine

Lauren has been caring for patients since 2022. She received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Providence College. She completed her nursing training at MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, earning both a bachelor of science and master’s degree in nursing. She is certified by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Ahmed Basheer, MD

Internal Medicine

Dr. Ahmed Basheer earned his medical degrees in India at Madurai Medical College and completed his residency in internal medicine at Carney Hospital in Dorchester, MA. Dr. Basheer is board-certified in internal medicine. He is fluent in both English and Tamil.

Riad Mortada, MD

Internal Medicine

Dr. Riad Mortada has been caring for patients since 1985. He received his undergraduate and medical education at Cairo University in Egypt. He went on to complete an internal medicine residency at Medical Center of Central Massachusetts – Memorial, in Worcester, MA, and a transitional residency at Frankford Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He is board-certified in internal medicine. In addition to English, Dr. Mortada is fluent in Arabic.
