The Center for Science in the Public Interest - publishes the award-winning Nutrition Action Newsletter.  They seek to educate the public, advocate government policies that are consistent with scientific evidence on health and environmental issues, and counter industry's powerful influence on public opinion and public policies.

The American Heart Association - works to reduce heart disease by promoting a healthy diet and lifestyle.  Their site provides information on heart disease, as well as recipes, shopping and cooking tips to help individuals make smart choices for long-term heart health.

The American Diabetes Association - provides information and education about living with and managing Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, as well as Gestational diabetes.

The American Institute for Cancer Research - funds cancer research, and provides tools and information to help people prevent and survive cancer.  Sign up for free emails and healthy recipes from their test kitchen.
