Uveitis
Uveitis refers to conditions which cause and result from inflammation in any layer or segment of the eye. Patients with uveitis can experience blurred vision, eye pain, redness, light sensitivity, and progressive vision loss if not treated. Uveitis can also be associated with immune system disorders.
Uveitis specialists are trained to evaluate, diagnose, and treat not only the eye but any underlying immunological conditions in conjunction with your primary care provider or other specialists. Coordination of care, so essential for patients with uveitis, is a hallmark of our practice at Atrius Health.
