Upper Blepharoplasty/Eyelid Surgery

Upper blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure that can be performed cosmetically to rejuvenate the upper eyelid region, or functionally to improve visual fields that are obstructed by excess skin. Incisions are strategically placed in your natural upper eyelid crease which minimizes visibility of any scars. The goal of this procedure is to restore the youthful and energectic look of your periocular region in a very natural and subtle manner.

During your initial consultation, your surgeon will meet with you to listen to your medical and prior ocular history, perform a comprehensive examination of your eyes, and discuss risks and benefits of this surgery. If further ocular testing is required, this can be arranged. Your specific goals and desires will be discussed, and a tailored approach will be designed. Surgeries can be performed in the office under local anesthesia or in the operating room with anesthesia, depending on patient and surgeon preferences. All surgeries are performed by a double board-certified Harvard facial plastic surgeon in a Harvard-affiliated facility. Contact our office at 781-431-5275 to schedule a private consultation with one of our physicians.
