We understand that routine follow-ups for PrEP prescriptions can sometimes be inconvenient. That is why we are thrilled to provide E-Visits for PrEP medication renewal. Through your MyHealth Online account, you can skip the in-person appointment and complete a simple online questionnaire about your health and PrEP use, all from the comfort of your own home. Our care team will then review your information and seamlessly renew your prescription if appropriate. Ask your Pride+ Care provider at your next visit to begin placing your PrEP refills through the E-Visit system. Interested in starting PrEP for the first time? We believe in the importance of regular sexual health screening. With our new E-Visit STI screening option, you can submit a confidential questionnaire to access asymptomatic STI screening for most common STIs (HSV & HPV not included). Our clinicians will thoroughly review your responses and order appropriate screening tests. You only need to report to the lab – no appointment necessary!If you have active symptoms of an STI or are looking to test for HSV or HPV, we encourage you to book at appointment with your Pride+ Care provider.
How E-Visits Work
- Quick and Easy: Simply log in to your MyHealth Online account and look for the banner that says, “STI Screening E-Visits now available!” or go to the "Symptom Checker" tab. (PrEP E-Visits will display in the Symptom Checker menu once you are prescribed the medication and are registered with a Pride+ Care PCP for ongoing care.) The system will guide you through a secure questionnaire designed to gather information about your current sexual health. The STI Screening E-Visits are currently only visible to those patients who are registered in the Pride+ Care Program.
- Expert Review: Your completed questionnaire, your medical history and other health information will be reviewed by our dedicated Pride+ E-Visit clinicians.
- Personalized Plan: You will receive a message through your MyHealth account with a tailored treatment plan, including any necessary prescriptions or testing recommendations. Based on your answers submitted through the E-Visit system, you may be offered the option to make an appointment, ensuring you receive the care you need.
