Clinical Interests
I love all things Rheumatology, a specialty that covers so many interesting disciplines of medicine (inflammatory, some mechanical, immunologic ... all in one). I love connecting with patients and collaborating in initiatives that allow for multi-modal approaches to patient care because I believe that comprehensive care critical to patient engagement in their recovery/treatment. I love educating patients about the 'hows' and 'whys' of their treatment and management; I firmly believe that, armed with adequate knowledge, patients can be empowered to improve their quality of life and even help to direct their treatment program in the must functional ways possible.
Personal Interests
I never mind settling down with a cup of coffee and a good book. I often spend my quiet time with knitting or watercolor (since I have a love of process-based learning/iterative learning) while dreaming of exploration/travel adventures. But on really beautiful New England days, you can find me biking or hiking with my children or with my friends.
